It’s finally here! Pop bottles, clink glasses, pour coffee, grab some cookies – whatever makes you happy – and dig into some reading. I hope everyone enjoys the hell out of this tale. My book birthday wish is to spread a little happiness and whole lot of hot. Cheers!

SBM_Slow Burn_coverlgDetective Douglas Brody has only ever known the life of a cop. Raised strict but fair by his police chief father, he joined the academy right out of school, climbed the ranks hard and fast, and now works homicide for the City of Charleston.  The job is his entire life. For years it’s kept him happy enough to minimize the side of him that craves what he believes is wrong. An accident on the job puts him on medical leave and everything in Brody’s world changes. He has to prove himself once more to be best cop in the department, all while dealing with Zack – his persistent, sexy, and out of the closet physical therapist.

Zack is tan skin, big grins, floppy hair and tackles his job with the same full-blown enthusiasm he does everything else. When the “patient from hell” is thrown his way by another PT who can’t handle him, Zack is committed to achieving the impossible.  His new patient is a head strong and hot as hell homicide detective, who oozes as much resentment as he does sex appeal. Any involvement with a patient, especially a man who is so deep in the closet he can’t see light, is something Zack swore he’d never do. But Brody slowly proves too much to resist…

  1. Just finished Slow Burn and loved it. Also loved A Rookie Move. What’s next & when?

    • Glad you enjoyed them! Right now the work in progress is tentatively titled BY DESIGN – though titles change constantly. Hope to finish it in the spring, but no clue when it will come out. I’ll update the site when I know more.

  2. This was an extraordinarily exciting read–complex, conflicted characters, realistic situations, exceptional sex. I “stumbled” upon it somehow and finished it in two sittings–went right out and bought “Rookie Moves,” which is preventing me from catching up on previously purchased books by well-established M/M writers. Hang in there, Sam, your career is ready to take off!

    • Thank you so much for the compliment! It’s always nice to be the cause of some TBR list reshuffling.

      • Your website does not provide for comments on Rookie Move–which I devoured just like I did Slow Burn. Much more intense in many ways because of the conflicts each man has, and I am looking forward to more, more, more!

  3. When, oh, when will you have a new book???? I loved Slow Burn and Rookie Move and have been dying for something new from you. Please say there’s something coming soon!!

    • My new book is out now! Sorry it took so long. It won’t take years for the next one. 🙂

  4. Having purchased & read (twice) both the “Rookie Move & Slow Burn” I am anxiously awaiting “By Design” or any other publication in the future ! My life would have been positively influenced if these had been available six decades ago. Keep it “UP” – pun intended !

    • The new book is out! Finally!!! Sorry, it’s been a crazy couple of years, but I’m back in the saddle now. 😉
